Michigan State women’s soccer comes into the 2024 season with a No. 13 ranking and lofty expectations. The challenges would start immediately, with the team squaring off against Notre Dame, who checked in at No. 15 in the nation.
The Spartans would knock off the Fighting Irish, 2-1, giving MSU a top-15 victory and the first victory the program has gotten over Notre Dame since 1989.
