Michigan State hockey coach Adam Nightingale has been red hot on the recruiting trail, continuously gaining commitments in the 2007 and 2008 recruiting classes. The Spartans added to their blue line via the recruiting ranks, tapping into New York to pick up Thomas Bleyl. The defenseman is a skilled 5-foot-11, 160 pound blue liner in the 2007 recruiting class.
Bleyl is a native of Glenville, New York, playing for Albany Academy last year. He will be playing at Cushing Academy this upcoming season. Puck Preps ranks the New York product as a 4-star prospect.
