This spring, Michigan State football saw a parade of players enter the NCAA transfer portal after disappointing 2022-23 season. That list was headlined by Payton Thorne and Keon Coleman, but another big one was Charles Brantley, who quickly exited the portal to come back to MSU.
Now, Brantley has announced that he will once again enter the portal ‘just to open up’ his options.
I would expect a slew of other Spartans to do the same this weekend, as the Michigan State staff looks to add their 2024 recruits and transfers to the team, spots will be limited and players will want to see what other options are out there before the music stops and they are left without a chair.
I will be entering the transfer portal tomorrow just to open up my options💚
