Michigan State basketball to host 5 recruits against Ohio State

Michigan State is set to host Ohio State inside of the Breslin Center on Sunday afternoon for a big time Big Ten matchup.

While the matchup on the floor is imperative for the Spartans as they move into March, the Spartans will be making it a big day for recruiting as well.

According to Joe Tipton of On3, via X, Michigan State will be hosting five big time targets in the class of 2025 and class of 2026.

Check out who the Spartans will be hosting at the Breslin Center on Sunday, when they square off with the Buckeyes:

5-star Jerry Easter

Jerry Easter will be the headliner on campus today. Michigan State is firmly in the mix for the five star’s talents.

Easter is originally from Toledo, Ohio, but now attends La Lumiere in Indiana for high school. He is a 6-foot-4 combo guard, ranking in the top-25 of the 2025 recruiting class rankings.

5-star Darius Adams

Another five star, Darius Adams is a top-20 player in the 2025 recruiting class. A 6’5″ shooting guard, Adams is coveted by a plethora teams around the country.

Originally from New Jersey, Adams also plays with Easter at La Lumiere.

4-star Chuck Love

Chuck Love is a 6-foot-6 small forward that also attends La Lumiere, but is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska. Love is a solid wing, that is starting to pick up more steam in his recruitment.

Michigan State has not yet offered Love, but he does hold seven solid major conference offers.

4-star Steven Reynolds

A member of the 2026 recruiting class, Steven Reynolds is on a fast track to being a top-30 player in his class. A 6’5″ shooting guard, MSU has not offered Reynolds yet, but I expect it is something that happens on this visit.

4-star Gabriel Sularski

Another member of the 2026 recruiting class, Sularski is a sharpshooting wing, originally from Illinois.

The Spartans offered Sularski this past fall, but are going to fight an uphill battle against Illinois to win this recruitment.
