Michigan State basketball played their final game of a trip overseas to Spain. This was the toughest game they have played on the trip.
The Spartans matched up with KK FMP, a Serbian professional team that is in the top league in Serbia, and qualified for this season’s European Champions League, which is considered the strongest basketball tournament in Europe.
The Spartans fought valiantly, overcoming a double digit deficit to make it a close game, but ultimately fell to the pros from Serbia, 115-110.
Check out the scoring leaders from MSU:
MSU comeback falls short. They couldn't get enough stops and missed a LOT of layups, which won't cut it against a grown man Serbian team. They drop their third game to KK FMP 115-110 and finish their Spain trip 2-1.
