Michigan State basketball blows second half lead, falls to Penn State on the road

You never say never in college basketball. You can always turn a season around, but Tuesday night was definitely a low point for Michigan State basketball as the Spartans fell to Penn State on the road 62-58.

The Spartans blew a 12-point second half lead as Penn State stormed back behind an epic game from center John Harrar, who finished with 16 points and 16 rebounds.

MSU had a very difficult time scoring tonight, with only Max Christie and Julius Marble reaching double digits. Marble did have one of his best games of the season, finishing with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks, but did seem to run out of gas at the end of the game.

Michigan State will have a chance to bounce back on Saturday against Illinois at home.
