Michigan State got great news this week, learning that Tyson Walker and Malik Hall would be returning for a fifth collegiate season, seriously bolstering MSU’s roster for the 2023-24 season.
With both players returning, it appears that the roster management faze of Michigan State’s offseason could be coming to a close. With welcoming the two seniors back, the Spartans are nearing their limit on scholarships.
Tom Izzo is allowed to use 13 scholarships on any given year, and the Spartans are now at 12 scholarship players. As long as no one enters the portal, MSU may be done with adding to their roster.
