Michigan’s Blake Corum Had the Perfect Three-Word Cap to His College Career After National Championship

The Michigan Wolverines are national champions, having taken down the Washington Huskies in the CFP title game on Monday night.

The game marked the perfect sendoff for senior running back Blake Corum, who ended his Wolverines’ career on a high note with the national championship victory.

After the game, Corum summed up what the moment meant to him with a three-word message for the Michigan fan base as he closed the curtain on his college career.

“We said we had unfinished business, so I’ll leave y’all with this: Business is finished,” said Corum while on the stage with his teammates during the trophy presentation ceremony.

Despite having the opportunity to turn pro after last season, Corum decided to return to the Wolverines in order to compete for a national championship. He accomplished that goal on Monday, playing a critical part in the team’s title run.

The 23-year-old carried the ball 21 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns, a fitting conclusion to a prolific career in Ann Arbor, which spanned 44 games.

Across four years with the program, Corum scored 59 total touchdowns and racked up 3,603 rushing yards. This season, he led the nation with 27 rushing touchdowns, including his pair from Monday night.
