Michigan football got an expected road win over Penn State on Saturday, even without coach Jim Harbaugh due to his Big 10 suspension.
Indeed, Harbaugh got suspended on Friday for the rest of the regular season amid the school’s sign-stealing scandal, which prompted an immediately defiant response from the Wolverines.
Well, you’d think something actually horrible had happened to Harbaugh with how emotional interim coach Sherrone Moore got in his postgame interview with Fox Sports’ Jenny Taft.
A devastated Moore delivered an impassioned, NSFW interview about Harbaugh’s absence to the point of him breaking down in tears.
It was… OK… it was a little weird! We get being bummed that Harbaugh wasn’t at this week’s game, but… y’know… he’s just watching the game from down the street.
"Coach Harbaugh… I love the sh*t out of you man. I did this for you!"

Give Moore some credit for getting the job done after learning he’d be acting head coach less than a day before kickoff.
Yet Michigan being overly dramatic about Harbaugh’s suspension was always going to happen, and Moore’s postgame interview has to be the best example of how extra this whole response has been.
The Wolverines have been alleged of cheating, and y’know, usually cheating comes with consequences!
If the team wants to use Harbaugh’s second suspension of the season as fuel, they’re more than entitled to do so. However, there just comes a point where this all becomes a bit silly. Nobody should be crying over a three-game suspension that only bars Harbaugh from storming the sidelines on game days.
