Michigan basketball head coach Juwan Howard has been suspended for the rest of the regular season because of an altercation at the end of the loss against Badgers on Sunday. Howard had a heated exchange with Badgers’ head coach Greg Gard stemming from a late timeout Wisconsin took with a few seconds left and the game well in hand.
Things escalated when Howard seemed to reach out and strike a Wisconsin head coach with a scrum ensuing between both teams. After the incident, you knew there would be some discipline handed down, and we now know exactly what that is based on a statement from the Big Ten in conjunction with the Michigan and Wisconsin athletic departments.
