A Michigan creamery is recalling a frozen dessert marketed as vegan and non-dairy after the finished product was found to potentially contain egg, one of the nine major food allergens.
Blank Slate Creamery of Ann Arbor is recalling its 4.5-ounce Vegan Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert Coconut Fudge Sandwiches, according to the company announcement posted by the FDA. The product comes in a clear plastic package carrying best-by dates of 11/23/26 and 1/9/27. It was sold at three store locations in Ann Arbor and Brighton, Michigan. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.
