DISGRACED former Tory peer Michelle Mone charged a local authority £8000 for a speaking engagement which included a stop at a hairdresser, the Sunday National can reveal.

The businesswoman and baroness, described as an “artiste” in official documents, billed the lucrative sum for a two and a half hour lunchtime talk in Donegal, Ireland.
