Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright get same response as they show off elaborate festive display

Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have stunned fans by showing off their festive home display as temperatures plummeted and snow fell in some parts of the country. The couple finally moved into their huge Essex mansion, said to be worth £3.5m, in September this year after two years of extensive renovation work.

The former Coronation Street actress and The Only Way Is Essex star kept fans updated with the journey of creating their dream home on their dedicated Instagram account @wrightyhome. It came after the couple, who married in 2015, bought the property in October 2019 before they began knocking it down in July 2020 to rebuild their own Georgian-style mansion.

And after a few months of settling in to the property, Michelle and Mark are preparing to spend their first Christmas in their new home.

Last month, the loved-up pair shared a video to their Instagram page, set to Michael Bublé's It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas, as they showed off their huge Christmas tree that stands tall in their entrance hall and a gorgeous garland that hangs over their front door.

The couple wrote alongside the video: "Christmas 2022 has begun the Wright household @elementshomegarden smashed it again x." But their huge abode look extra festive this week as snow fell in Essex creating Mark and Michelle's very own winter wonderland.

Again taking to Instagram, but his own personal page this time, Mark showed the front of their grand house in lights as the snow fell over their sprawling driveway. As well as the extravagant garland around the doors, light-up reindeer could be seen dotting the edge of the house with what appeared to be miniature Christmas trees.

There were also large white lights dotted around the roof’s entire perimeter as more orange and yellow lights illuminated the exterior of the house. "Wow!! Always wanted to see our home in the snow. It’s certainly snowed here," Mark, 35, captioned the video which was soon garnering the same response from his followers.

@aligator0488 said: "It’s like the English version of the home alone house.. you have to put a moving cut out in the window." @donna__louise20 commented: "I feel like this is the British version of the HOMEALONE house." @samantha161171 replied: "I was thinking that too, lush isnt it."

It's a Home Alone movie set!" @denisebrads1111 added: "Home Alone vibes."

Some, however, weren't as enthusiastic as they referenced the current energy crisis in the comments. But others were quick to defend Mark for posting including @philrabz91 who wrote: "People being sour about this video is pathetic. They have both worked hard for the successes in life!! If you don’t like it, don’t follow!"
