Michelle Heaton has shared unseen photos of her in rehab during which she was battling an addiction to alcohol and cocaine.
The mum-of-two, 42, checked into the Priory for six months last year after admitting she was downing two bottles of wine, one bottle of vodka and snorting cocaine every day.
Thankfully, the Liberty X star has now been sober for 14 months and took to Instagram sharing her story to help anyone with addiction.
In a montage of candid snaps, Michelle can be seen in various states of disarray.
In the first she stands in front of a mirror with her tummy bloated.
In another her face looks puffy as she stares at the camera with bloodshot eyes.
Labelling the pics "14 months ago", the singer then adds a pic of her family outside the Priory.
She is then seen hugging her husband Hugh Hanley and kids Faith, 10 and AJ, eight.
In the final shots, Michelle proudly holds a poster which says "28 days clean" followed by a message of congratulations, revealing she's been sober since April 28 2021.
Captioning the montage, Michelle wrote: "I continue to share my story because by sharing I might just help the still suffering addict!
"I’m just over 14 months, looking back at this person, I see fear, sadness, confusion, pain, and as that month went on I see hope, light, fight, and a desire to live.
"Whether you are the addict or a loved one of the addict, there is hope! If I can do it so can you!
"I follow a 12 step program, regularly attend my meetings and help others to achieve sobriety like I have.
"I have a life now I could never have imagined, a life without fear!"
The positive post went down a storm with her famous friends with many flocking to congratulate the star.
Danielle Lloyd wrote: "Well done hunny proud of you."
While Denise Welch posted five clapping emojis.
Michelle checked herself into The Priory after celebrity friends including Katie Price for saving her life clubbed together to pay for her stint in rehab.
Opening up about the intervention, the singer told The Sun last year: "I texted Katie while I was in The Priory, ‘You saved my life’. Because The Priory did save my life...
"I was crying out for help when I couldn’t actually ask for help. But when you’re an addict, it feels like there’s no way out."
Thankfully, Michelle has found a way out, posting another video of her yesterday walking her dog Bella in the park.
Telling fans she loved them she said,: "You put one foot in front of the other and you shake it off. Have a blessed day."
