Glaswegians are being invited to step into Michelangelo's famous Sistine Chapel with the arrival of a new unique exhibition.
Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition, will showcase the Italian sculptor, painter and architect's renowned ceiling frescoes from the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel, reproduced photographically and artfully displayed in their original size.
Visitors will also be able to learn about Michelangelo’s life through the exhibit, which offers 'an up-close, life-sized, never-before-seen perspective', with visitors 'seeing every detail, brushstroke, and colour' of the artist’s 34 frescoes.

Each image is accompanied by informative signage, and audio guides are available to rent for an even more in-depth experience.
Organisers add that one of the most stunning recreations in the collection is The Last Judgment as the grand finale.
Having already wowed visitors in Los Angeles, Madrid and London, the exhibition will be coming to Braehead Shopping Centre at the old ice rink from June 21.
