Michael Wardrope has completed a shock move from Irvine Meadow to Auchinleck Talbot.

The West of Scotland League Premier Division rivals struck a deal for the 25-year-old midfielder after Talbot had an initial offer knocked back last week.

Meadow say they were left with no option after Wardrope - the club's top goalscorer - made it clear he saw his future at Beechwood Park.
