NEW YORK – Michael Trizano spoke to reporters at media day ahead of UFC 281.
Trizano (9-3 MMA, 3-3 UFC), who won Season 27 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” entered the UFC undefeated and was successful in his promotional debut. However, the 30-year-old has lost three of his past four fights, including back-to-back to Hakeem Dawodu and Lucas Almeida.
He will look to snap his losing skid when he meets Seungwoo Choi (10-5 MMA, 3-4 UFC) on Saturday.
“I hate losing, so that’s always No. 1,” Trizano told reporters, including MMA Junkie, at media day. “I don’t really put pressure on myself. I take it one fight at a time. Yeah, it’s the first time in my career I’ve lost back-to-back fights in anything, and yeah, it sucks. But I’m just gonna go in there and implement my game plan, and that’s what it comes down to. Whoever wants it more.”
UFC 281 takes place Saturday at Madison Square Garden. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPNews and early prelims on ESPN+.
