Michael Owen has labelled Conor Coady and Everton a "match made in heaven" following the defender's impressive start to life at Goodison Park.
St Helens-born Coady was part of the Liverpool academy from the age of 11, worked his way right through the ranks and made a handful of appearances under Brendan Rodgers before being sold to Huddersfield Town in 2014.
Having later made his name as captain of Wolverhampton Wanderers, leading them to promotion from the Championship in 2018, Coady became a permanent fixture during their Premier League return under Nuno Espirito Santo at the heart of his three-man defence.
