Love Islanders Gemma Owen, daughter of footballer Michael Owen, and Luca Bish had a pretty easy ride in the villa and ultimately stuck together for most of the show. However, Gemma always held off officially making Luca her boyfriend until he had met her family and had their approval.
Shortly after returning home, after the couple came second in the Love Island final, Gemma was soon jetting back off on holiday to meet up with family and friends. She was also joined by Luca, who met Michael for the first time.
Speaking on the Capital breakfast show Gemma said that Luca got on well with all her family however there was a sly dig from Michael. The former footballing star posted a family photo on Instagram from the holiday which was missing both Gemma and Luca.

Captioning the post "Family -1" with the Portuguese flag emoji, Michael indicated the only family member missing was Gemma and not Luca. Both Gemma and Luca commented on the post. Gemma - who is reportedly set to land herself a six-figure deal from fashion chain Boohoo - said: "I was there for 4 days and you wait til I leave to get a family picture".
Luca simply added: "-2*" as if to correct Michael. Michael brutally replied to the comments with "part timers don't make the cut." Despite this Gemma told the Capital breakfast show that Luca had got on well with her family.
She said: "It couldn't have gone better, it was so nice. They all got on really well and how he was with my brother and sisters as well." She also shocked Luca and their fans when she told Luca her favourite thing about him was his teeth before she then fell asleep on the live Q&A on Instagram.
