Michael Jackson son Prince unrecognisable as he defends dad's King of Pop title on GMB

Michael Jackson's son Prince appeared on Good Morning Britain this morning and he looks unrecognisable, the Mirror reports. The son of the Thriller Star which is celebrating it's 40 year anniversary was interviewed by Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins on the ITV breakfast show about his father's legacy.

He revealed how his father would always make this time of the year special for them as the family celebrated Halloween with their own traditional activities. He was also asked his opinion on comments that Harry Styles had taken the King of Pop title off of his late father to which he responded that although Harry was a talented musician, his Dad earned the irreplaceable title over years of dedication and hard work.

Prince said: ''Harry Styles is an incredible artist and he's got his own genre. He's an amazing artist but the King of Pop was a moniker my dad really earned during a time when the access to information, the access to popularity and fame wasn't as possible as it is today.''

"With so many other social factors you have at the time, I do feel like my father is the King of Pop and always will be the King of Pop and it's not something you can ever take away because we've just evolved so much as a society." He added: "Those same factors will never be the same.

''So when you look about where my father started to where he ended versus where all the people started to where they ended, it's just night and day of a difference." Fans rushed to social media to pay tribute to Prince, describing him as a very "level headed" guy.

"Prince Jackson is a smart dude. His dad would be very proud along with his other siblings. #GMB," one wrote, as a second added: "Prince Jackson seems a very level headed young man. #gmb."

A third penned: "Prince seems so well rounded #gmb," with a fourth adding: "Great interview with Prince Jackson.

His positivity comes across so well.. #GMB." A fifth shared: "Prince Jackson seems like such a nice guy. #GMB."

Prince also admitted he didn't realise how famous his dad was - until he saw people fainting over his father. "When I started to realise that this was something more was when I started watching videos of men fainting over my day.

''Even now, I’m understanding the full weight of his legacy – as I grow up, as I learn more about his history. His impact is so much deeper than I can fully comprehend," he explained during his appearance on Good Morning Britain.
