ATLANTA — In the days before the Peach Bowl, C.J. Stroud was told that the book on him from NFL scouts is that he doesn’t make enough plays off script. He’s great throwing in rhythm from clean pockets, but not so much when things become hectic.
Ohio State’s quarterback didn’t take offense. Stroud said if that’s what the video shows, then so be it, but added that he could improvise if necessary.
“Whatever I have to do to win the game, I am going to try to do it,” Stroud said.
