Michael Conlan vs Leigh Wood press conference gets off to 'unexpected start'

The press conference between Michael Conlan and Leigh Wood got off to a bizarre start as a trumpeter interrupted to begin proceedings.

Conlan and Wood are due to face off on March 12 in Nottingham in their world title fight in what is expected to be one of the best fights of 2022.

And the two fighters are doing back to back press conferences in Nottingham and Belfast on Wednesday and Thursday to promote the bout.a
