Canadian swing star Michael Bublé has announced a new tour for 2023, celebrating a 20-year milestone, which will bring him back to the North East early next summer.
The Just Haven't Met You Yet singer will be playing the Utilita Arena in Newcastle on May 1 during his new Higher tour of the UK and tickets will go on sale this Friday. The Grammy Award-winner last wowed local crowds in July at Chester-le-Street cricket ground where he told fans how he thought of the region as "my home from home".
The eight-venue Higher tour, named after his number one album, will kick off in the spring and also take in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds and London - at the iconic O2 - plus Manchester and Nottingham.

It will be Bublé's first nationwide arena tour in more than four years and it will mark 20 years since the release of his self-titled debut album. The tour will kick off at The O2 on March 26 and the travelling show promises to be a charismatic and intimate one.
The Newcastle date follows on from Bublé's appearance at the Utilita Arena in 2019 which won rave reviews. He said of his new tour: "I can’t wait to be back in arenas across the UK - it's going to be true arena spectacle!
"I'm so excited for people to experience it. A lot of my fans have been part of my journey for the past 20 years, so to celebrate this milestone with everyone together is going to be extra special.
"I just want to connect to them, take them away, spread some goodness. That's it!" Tickets for the Higher tour will go on general sale on October 21 at 9am. Keep an eye out here. For a chance to secure pre-sale tickets, sign up here.
