The Tartan Army went from fearing Haaland to partying in dream land after Steve Clarke’s boys secured a sensational comeback win in Oslo.
Big Erling might have got his goal but Scotland are the ones who raided Norway and punters are convinced they are going to the Euros in Germany next summer. Tim Gibbens emailed: “Deutschland, here we come! There’s Nor-way we can cock it up from this position.”
Stephen Johnstone, Ardentinny, said: “Lyndon Dykes and King Kenny McLean produced the biggest mother of comebacks in Scotland's history and sent Steve Clarke's boys and the fans into dream land and Norway into Haa Haa Land. Fans can look out their passports, this team is magnificent under Clarke.” William Hutchison, Aberdeen, said: “We may not have stopped Haaland from scoring but to keep fighting right to the end was remarkable. Well done Scotland, that's our philosophy now – fight to the final whistle.”
