Michael Beale believes the 'real' Glen Kamara is too good to play for the teams linked with making a January move for his services.
The new Rangers manager has hailed his 'fantastic' relationship with the midfielder that stretches back from his time as Steven Gerrard's No2 at the club. He's now back as the main man and says he would always want him in his Light Blues side whether he was coaching or watching them in action.
French sides Nantes and Nice are believed to be preparing bids for the midfielder - named Finland Player of the Year - while Italian top-flight outfit Salernitana have also been mentioned. The midfielder was in from the start in Beale's Ibrox bow as the home side defeated Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen 3-0. All focus now turns to the clash with Hibs under the lights in Govan on Thursday night as the bid to chase down Ange Posteoclgou and Celtic at the Premiership summit begins.

Responding to the speculation surrounding Kamara, Beale said: “If the real Glen Kamara plays football, there will always be teams who want him.
“For the last few months for whatever reason, he’s not always performed at the levels he can when he’s played as a starting player.
“I watched the game back with Leipzig the other day, and he got a half-assist for the first goal in that game and scored the second, so I know how good Glen is.
“We have a fantastic relationship that goes back a long way.
“I would always want him to be in a Rangers team that I was coaching or watching.
“In terms of all the speculation and looking at some of the clubs that are after him, in my opinion I think that that the best version of Glen is too good to play for them.”
