Michael Beale insists he won't take his eye off the Premiership ball and pick a team to face Livingston with the League Cup final in mind.
Rangers make the trip to the Tony Macaroni Arena aiming to maintain their unbeaten run under Beale and keep alive their slim chances of clinching the league title this term.
The main focus in the second half of the season is on the cup competitions and the Old Firm showdown next week is a hugely significant occasion for Beale and his side.
The Ibrox boss revealed on Thursday that John Lundstram was 'touch and go' for the Lions fixture and there are also concerns over fellow midfielders Nicolas Raskin and Ryan Jack and vice-captain Connor Goldson.
But Beale will treat each game as it comes and on its own merits as he bids for another Premiership win to keep Rangers firmly on track heading into their date with destiny at the National Stadium.
Beale said: “Prior injuries for sure, so Ianis Hagi has never had a problem playing on an artificial surface but he has just returned from an ACL so we have to be realistic there. One or two others have had problems in the past but every player in our squad has played on a 3G previously.
“Obviously we lost John Souttar on an artificial surface earlier in the season and obviously with his previous as well, so you have to think of people’s previous injury records.
“But I don’t want to think about the game after this game, only this game. I’m not a coach who does that.
"I only think about the game in front of you because you can’t pick a team for a week’s time because that doesn’t work. You want to keep the momentum.
"Whatever happens with the result this week we need to win next week either way because it’s a cup final and I will deal with that team probably Thursday or Friday, the back end of next week.
"As it stands right now the midfield is my biggest concern for this weekend because that’s the area where we have a few issues.”
