It's been the Hotline for decades but maybe it’s time to make a name change. Welcome to the VARline.
The video assistant ref system was brought in to end controversy surrounding decisions. So much for that idea. The debates are rumbling on and there was another Connor Goldson handball call at Tannadice on Sunday some punters believe required a second look.
Not that anyone has a clue what handball is any more. Anyway, Paul McCormack, Coatbridge, said: “We've been hearing for years that Michael Beale was the tactical genius behind Gerrard’s time at Rangers. This 2-4-4-1 formation he's tried these last couple of games, with two goalkeepers, has caught everybody out, even VAR, let's see if it catches on.”
