Michael Beale has sent a 'good to be back' Rangers message as pre-season preparations get underway.
The Light Blues boss enjoyed some down time with his family in Mallorca before getting back to business with his new look squad as he checked back in to the training ground yesterday ahead of the players' return on Friday. The 42-year-old is set to enter his first full campaign in charge following his arrival at the club late last year.
A number of changes in personnel have already taken place with the likes of Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and Scott Arfield moving on alongside club legend Allan McGregor. Four new faces have arrived so far in the shape of Sam Lammers, Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling and Jack Butland with Abdallah Sima set to become transfer number five with a season-long loan agreement in place with Brighton.

Cyriel Dessers and Danilo are both options up top as the Rangers boss looks to tie down that all important new No9 he has been craving. They've reportedly had bids rejected for both with Ronald de Boer giving the inside track on the linked duo.
It's set to be a big season for Beale and Co as they chase down silverware. Celtic won a domestic Treble last season under Ange Postecoglou and despite his exit they've managed to get Brendan Rodgers back on board for a second spell - with his first stint proving hugely successful.
Rangers will be out to stop the Hoops' dominance while they also have crucial Champions League qualifiers early in the campaign as they bid for a place at Europe's top table once again.
The fixture list comes out tomorrow morning for the Scottish Premiership campaign alongside the Auchenhowie return as the hard graft begins ahead of a long season.
