Michael Beale has eased Rangers injury concerns over key duo Connor Goldson and Ryan Jack.
The pair have been left out of today's squad as the Light Blues take on Livingston in the Scottish Premiership.
Both featured against Servette in the Champions League in midweek, and both are fit and well according to their manager Beale.
He told the BBC: "Ryan had a bit of broken-up pre-season. He played excellently on Wednesday and I was always going to play Jose Cifuntes today. With Kieran (Dowell) and John Lundstram on the bench as well I felt there was no need.
"In terms of Connor he only trained two days before the Kilmarnock game after four months out. He has done fantastic to play two 90 minutes and again, for him we were never going to play him three games in the first week of the season.
"He weren't going to play three games in the first week. We had to take a hit somewhere and today is the one, and Leon has been able to prepare himself for it."
