Heading into the 2023 NFL season, the Miami Dolphins were one of the favorites to win Super Bowl LVIII with odds of +2,500.
After three games of the 2023 NFL season, the Dolphins now find themselves an even bigger favorite that’s attracting some big bets.
While many NFL fans and casual fans were talking about Taylor Swift attending the Kansas City Chiefs game, the Miami Dolphins had a love story of their own with the scoreboard.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has put up strong numbers and is ranked second in the league in passing yards of 1,024 and second in passing touchdowns, 8. The Dolphins quarterback ranks first in adjusted quarterback rating at 82.9 and passer rating at 121.9.

The Dolphins defeated the Denver Broncos on Sunday in a large marge of 70-20, which is the second most point scored for a winning team in NFL history.
The success of the Dolphins has attracted several bets during the NFL season, including several bets placed after the team had won two games and before their 70-point game.
At BetMGM, a joint venture between MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) and Entain, a bettor placed a $27,000 wager on the Dolphins winning Super Bowl LVIII at odds of +2000. The bet will win $540,000 if the Dolphins win the Super Bowl.
A bettor also placed large wagers at BetMGM three days before the 70-point game by the Dolphins. The bettor wagered $100,000 on the Dolphins to win the Super Bowl at odds of +1300 with a potential profit of $1.3 million.
The same bettor placed a $60,000 wager on Tagovailoa winning the NFL MVP at odds of +500 for a potential $300,000 profit.
Until a team can slow down the high-powered offense of the Dolphins led by Tagovailoa, the team could see more bets pour in on their Super Bowl odds and the quarterback’s MVP odds.
