Lakhs of Maharashtra engineering aspirants have one date circled in red on their calendars, and it's finally here. The State Common Entrance Test Cell is putting out the MHT CET 2026 final merit list on July 27, 2026, clearing the runway for BE and BTech admissions across the state. Once the list goes live, students will be able to log into the centralised admission portal and pull up their State and All India ranks.
It isn't just the ranks landing today, though. The CET Cell is also expected to drop the category-wise provisional vacant seat matrix for CAP Round 1 alongside the merit list, essentially the first real look at how many seats are up for grabs, branch by branch, category by category. Together, these two documents kick off the next phase of the admission cycle: choice filling.
