MG has revealed its first ever seven-seat SUV with the launch of the new MGS9 PHEV, a plug-in hybrid family car that combines three rows of seating with an electric-only driving range of up to 62 miles. The new model moves the brand into the large SUV sector for the first time, with prices starting from £34,205 when it arrives in UK showrooms.
The MGS9 PHEV uses MG’s existing plug-in hybrid technology already seen in the MG HS. The system combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a 24.7kWh battery, allowing the car to travel up to 62 miles on electric power alone.
