The 74th Miss Universe Final is over, where Mexico’s Fátima Bosch won the Miss Universe 2025 crown. Thailand’s Veena Praveenar Singh came in second place.

This year’s event saw contestants from around the world showcase their individuality and confidence on stage, with the judges narrowing the field from 120 entrants to the Top 30, Top 12 and Top 5, before announcing the new Miss Universe.

This year's pageant saw a fair amount of drama, with the Thai organiser berating Miss Bosch at an earlier event, leading to a walkout of many of the contestants.

Miss Universe 2025 Results:

  •     Winner: Fátima Bosch (Mexico)
  •     1st Runner-up: Praveenar Singh (Thailand)
  •     2nd Runner-up: Ahtisa Manalo (Philippines)

Fátima Bosch won the title following strong performances in both the Top 5 Q&A segment and the Final Speech round.

In the Q&A portion, she was asked:“In your view, what is the biggest challenge of being a woman in 2025, and how would you use the Miss Universe platform to create safer spaces for women globally?”

She responded:“As Miss Universe, I will use my voice and my strength for others. Today, we are here to speak, to drive change, because we are courageous women who have come to make history.”

During the Final Speech round, all finalists were given the same question:“If you win Miss Universe tonight, how will you use the platform to support young girls?”

Fátima replied:“As Miss Universe, I would tell them to believe in their own power. Your dreams matter, your heart matters, and never let anyone make you doubt your worth. You are deserving of everything, you are powerful, and your voices must be heard.”
