Jake Knapp only hit two fairways in the final round of the Mexico Open but ground out a gutsy level par score to hold off runner-up Sami Valimaki, who finished two shots back.
American pro Knapp , 29, teed off with a four-shot lead which quickly evaporated in a rocky start but he regained his composure and held his nerve to clinch the winner's cheque after finishing on -19.
