Mexican President Requests Another Name Change in Response to Google's Decision to Reflect 'Gulf of America' on Maps

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum requested another name change in response to Google's decision to reflect President Trump's desire to rename the "Gulf of America" on its maps.

Sheinbaum told reporters on Thursday, according to the Independent, that she sent a letter to Google requesting the United States be renamed América Mexicana since parts of the United States were labeled as such on maps starting in 1607.
