NEW YORK _ Rain all day meant no time to play Sunday at Citi Field.
The Mets and Marlins had their series finale postponed until Aug. 5, when they will make it up as a part of a single-admission doubleheader starting at 4 p.m.
The inclement weather leaves the Mets with a two-game sweep _ and a 5-0 mark against the Marlins this season, heading into their three-game set this weekend in Miami _ and consecutive days off before hitting the road again. They don't play until 7 p.m. Tuesday against the Nationals, the start of stretch of 20 games in 20 days.
