New York Mets rookie pitcher Kodai Senga has made only two starts so far this season but he has made two things very clear in those outings: his ghost fork pitch is one of the coolest pitches in Major League Baseball and it’s going to make life very difficult for hitters.
Senga, a 30-year-old right-hander who previously was a star in the Japanese league, picked up his second win of the season Saturday when he gave up just one run in six innings of work against the Miami Marlins.
He had six strikeouts, including these three below that came via his ghost fork.
