Some Metrolink services are disrupted this afternoon after a fire broke out on the tramline.
Firefighters were called to the scene near the Ladywell tram stop in Salford just after 11.30am. The fire service said one fire engine responded to reports of a 'small' blaze.
Crews worked with Metrolink officers to 'make the area safe'. Metrolink services are currently unable to run between MediaCityUK and Eccles.

Metrolink said: "Due to an incident at Ladywell with Greater Manchester Fire Service, we are currently unable to operate between MediaCityUK and Eccles. All services will operate between MediaCityUK and Ashton only.
"Ticket acceptance is in place on the 29, 33, and 50 bus services only."
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "Just after 11.30am this morning (Thursday 25 May), one fire engine from Salford central fire station was called to reports of a small fire on the tramline on Eccles New Road, Salford.”
"Crews arrived quickly at scene and worked with Metrolink officers to make the area safe. Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour."
