Metro drivers impressed after testing new Stadler trains on the Tyne and Wear network

Metro Stadler

Metro drivers have been testing the new Stadler trains on the network.

The Swiss train manufacturer is building 46 new Class 555 Stadler trains on behalf of Nexus, which operates the Tyne and Wear Metro.

They have already delivered three of the trains to the North East and more are set to arrive later this year.
