A granny has been handed compensation by an energy giant who broke into her home in a row over an unpaid fuel bill.
Tracey Miller returned to her East Lothian home to find they had forced entry and installed a new meter. Tracey, 48, owed SSE £690 and claimed she’d reached an agreement to pay the sum in weekly amounts.
But their representatives entered her house while she was out and, armed with a court warrant, replaced her meter with a more expensive prepayment one.
