
As we approach the 2-year anniversary of the release of the Meta Quest 3, it has become increasingly clear how far ahead of the curve Meta was when the headset first debuted. Mixed reality was a buzzword without any real content to back it up, and while the hardware was supposed to be more powerful, few games showcased what it could truly do.
Fast-forward two years, and we've seen a substantial number of excellent mixed reality games debut, from superb puzzle games you can play with your morning cuppa in hand, to zombie defense simulators where human players are just as deadly as the undead, and even ways to turn your living room into an entire starship.
