Meta Platforms has unveiled two major India-focused infrastructure initiatives, partnering Reliance Industries (RIL) to develop its first built-to-suit data centre in the country and expanding its renewable energy collaboration with Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions to more than 900 MW of capacity.
The twin announcements underscore Meta’s increasing investments in India across digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence and renewable energy, while highlighting the country’s growing role in global technology and clean energy supply chains.
