A Metropolitan Police sergeant has been fired for telling a colleague she was “using the pregnancy card” when she came back from sick leave.

A misconduct hearing was told Police Sergeant Sevket Gurgur also accused the woman of being a “diva” after she asked to be let off her shift early so she could go to her midwife appointment.
