Met Police detective sacked for sharing 'overtly political' posts on social media on Gaza war

A Metropolitan Police detective sergeant has been sacked after sharing social media posts about the war in Gaza, including content found to be antisemitic.

Rebecca Collens, who was attached to the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command, faced allegations of posting “overtly political” material about the Israel–Gaza conflict that was unbalanced, one-sided and antisemitic.
