Met Office weather forecast for Leeds on Wednesday, August 24, as unpredictable day expected

Leeds could be hit by showers on Wednesday but it will still be a warm day across the city.

The Met Office is expecting "periods of rain" in parts of Yorkshire throughout Wednesday (August 24), but has also warned "warm or very warm" temperatures are likely. It said: "Periods of rain, perhaps locally heavy, during Wednesday with fog over high ground. Warm or very warm. Maximum temperature 25C."

Looking further ahead, sunny spells are expected on Thursday and Friday in Yorkshire although some rain is still possible. There is a strong chance of some light rain during the early hours of Wednesday morning in Leeds, but it should dry up as we head towards the afternoon.
