Storm Franklin has hit the UK just days after the country was battered by Storm Eunice and Storm Dudley earlier in the week.
A yellow weather warning for wind remains in place for Nottinghamshire with gusts expected to reach as high as 52mph on Monday morning (Feb 21).
Passengers heading on public transport are urged to check the latest before travelling.
The weather is also having an impact on some people wanting to use the tram, as the Queens Drive park and ride site will remain closed on Monday "due to rising water levels".
Travellers are advised the Racecourse park and ride can be used as an alternative.
Flood warnings have also been issued for some areas on the Nottinghamshire border.
The yellow weather warning is in place until 1pm on Monday.
