Thursday is looking to be cloudy and wet with rain forecast for the evening going into Friday morning. With temperatures reaching as high as 11C, this will be one of the warmer days, with Friday also being on the warmer side with highs of around 11C again. There may be a bit of sunshine on Friday but the rain is expected to stick around for the rest of the day.

Christmas Eve sees a slight dip back down in temperature with highs of 9C but feeling like 6C. The rain is expected to clear by early evening leaving the night as a cloudy cold evening. Christmas Day will see cooler temperatures. It should be a cloudy but dry day. Here in the south, temperatures are expected to be milder than of late with some strong winds. After the Christmas festivities the temperature is due to settle and there's a chance of frost and fog in the days before the new year.
