The Met Office is predicting Liverpool will be hotter than Ibiza this weekend.
Beautiful sunny skies have taken over Merseyside in the last week after months of colder weather. Today temperatures hit a high of 19C, which is 8C higher than the average temperature for this time of year.
The sizzling weather is set to continue over the weekend with The Met Office predicting Liverpool could see temperatures of up to 17C. These predictions mean Liverpool should be hotter than Ibiza, which is due to be overcast.

The Spanish island will only see highs of 16C on Saturday and Sunday.
According to the Met Office, Liverpool with have a foggy start to the morning, but once cleared it will leave a fine and dry day with largely sunny skies and small amounts of fair weather cloud. Feeling very warm once again.
Sunday will be another fine and dry day with sunny spells and highs of 16C. The weather will start to cool and become cloudy on Monday, with perhaps the odd light shower.
