Bristol is set for a week of warm and sunny weather - and it's likely to even be hotter than Ibiza, according to the Met Office. Temperatures are predicted to soar 17C in Bristol today (Tuesday) and on Wednesday, with highs of 16C expected for the other days of the week.
And its not only the high temperatures that will bring joy to Bristolians - a week of sunshine without any rain is also on the cards. And the conditions here are looking even better than the popular summer holiday destination of Ibiza, just off the Spanish coast.
The island is set to experience a week of periodic rain, and temperatures will be lower than Bristol on almost every day, staying at just 14C today. Meanwhile, the Met Office's forecast for the South West as a region is anticipating a week of warm sunshine.

Its outlook for Tuesday states: "Early cloud and a few showers soon clearing north, with increasing amounts of warm sunshine from mid-morning. A brisk southeasterly breeze will keep onshore coastal areas cooler."
And Wednesday through Friday is looking equally bright, with the prediction saying: "Largely dry with plenty of warm sunshine throughout this period. Remaining quite breezy in the far west and along the English Channel coast, and thus a little cooler here."
April weather usually sees a daily high of around 12C and a low of 4C, but one weather expert says the mercury could climb to a sweltering 28C, with temperatures peaking in the middle of the month, Liverpool Echo reports.
