The Met Office has predicted that weather conditions will be 'less unsettled' over Easter. As part of their long range forecast ranging from April 5 to April 19, the Met Office said calmer conditions were likely in April.
It has predicted some wetter weather at times during this period, with occasional showers, which could be heavy or thundery. The forecaster added most areas are also likely to see some spells of dry weather, with potentially frost and some fog overnight.
The chances of strong winds are probably lower than normal, and whilst temperatures are likely to generally be near to slightly above normal, cooler spells remain possible. Nottingham had multiple flurries of snowfall earlier this month, with heavier downpours shutting schools and causing travel disruption.

But much of the country has enjoyed milder climes in recent days as temperatures lingered in the balmy mid-teens. However, according to the Met Office, conditions will start to turn cooler towards the end of this week, with "wintry showers" possible.
